Laredo Police Confiscate 1.2 Million

The Laredo Police Department Pipeline Highway Interdiction Unit confiscated 1.2 million dollars from a Tractor Truck driving south on the 12 mile marker of I-35.  A police K-9 was used to investigate the truck  and the K-9 indicated to the presence of the drug infused scent left behind on money.  The truck and driver were taken in for further inspection and that’s where officers discovered the black plastic wrapped money.  The money was seized and the driver was released.  The case is open and ongoing and future charges may be pending.
