TxDOT’s Fifth Annual Reuse Roundup

reusable goods to include clothing, toys and others celebrates Texas
Recycles Day (November 15) and raises public awareness of the economic
and environmental benefits of recycling. These donations help reduce the
amount of disposable materials sent landfills.

Last year, approximately 378 pounds of articles were donated by
community members. TxDOT recycling coordinator Alma L Fermin anticipates
this year’s donations will exceed last year’s total. Donations will
be accepted through November 19 at the Laredo District Office located at
1817 Bob Bullock Loop.
