Earlier today, City of Laredo Fire Chief Steve Landin welcomed firefighters from France to sign an agreement, outlining training and assistance that the City of Laredo Fire Department will provide to French firefighters in the coming week, and beyond. Over the past five years, over 70 firefighters from France have come to Laredo to receive training assistance in various aspects, including fire suppression, emergency response and rescue tactics. The two entities communicate through interpreters in Spanish.
