The South Texas Food Bank received a check in the amount of $400 from
the Laredo District Employee Activities Committee (LDEAC), a committee
made up of state transportation employees supported by state
transportation employee donations. This monetary donation will help
STFB’s Kid’s Café Program provide over 2,500 nutritious meals to
needy children every week at over 11 locations in Laredo/Webb County.
The program also provides children with nutrition information and
