Street Closure for Storm Sewer Replacement

Emergency project to be completed early next year

MTZ Construction, Inc. will be working on an emergency project for the City of Laredo:  replacing the storm sewer line along Santa Rita Avenue from Hidalgo Street to Matamoros Street.  The street closure will be done in sections along the route; however, the street will be closed completely to thru traffic.  The street closure will begin at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2008.

The estimated completions date is January 9, 2009, barring that no problems or unexpected delays are encountered.
