VETERANS’ DAY CLOSURE NOTICE

All City of Laredo administrative offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2008, in observance of Veterans’ Day. Protective and emergency services will be operational.  

There will be no regular trash and recycling pick-up on Tuesday; please note that the trash collection schedule will resume on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 on regularly scheduled routes.   The City of Laredo Landfill and Recycling Drop-Off Center will also be closed on Veterans’ Day.  They will re-open the next day, during regular hours of operation, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

In observance of Veterans’ Day, the Laredo Public Library and the Bruni Branch will be closed, as well.

El Metro buses will run on regular schedule on Tuesday, for both their regular bus service and the El Lift route.

City of Laredo administrative offices will re-open on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Please be advised that the next regularly scheduled City Council Meeting is on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers.
