Crime Stoppers is working in conjunction with Union Pacific to assist them with an Arson case that occurred on Tuesday March 17, 2009 at approximately 8:10pm.  According to Union Pacific two unknown persons trespassed into the Union Pacific rail yard and entered into a locomotive (UP-4983) located between Gonzalez Street and Jefferson Street in West Laredo , Texas .  The emergency flares were removed from the locomotive's cab.  The lit flares were used to vandalize the interior of the locomotive, which sustained heavy fire damage.  Crime Stoppers is asking the community for assistance in the identification of the perpetrators.  All calls are anonymous and callers may receive a reward of up to $1,000.00.  Please call 727-TIPS or 1-800-558-TIPS with any information that might lead to an arrest.  In an addition to the regular Crime Stoppers reward, Union Pacific is adding up to $1,500.00.  We ask the community to please assist in this matter.
