On Friday, September 12, 2008 at approximately 6:47 AM, Laredo Police Department patrol officers were dispatched to the 7200 block of North Bob Bullock Loop on a reported roll over crash.

Upon arrival, officers found debris on the north bound lanes that lead to two vehicles that were found down an embankment, the grassy area. Officers also observed a female driver of one the vehicles still inside. Fire Department personnel arrived and were able to extract the driver, who was then treated and transported to Doctor’s Hospital.

The driver of the other vehicle was administered field sobriety tests, and was then transported to the Laredo Police Department.

Booked and charged with D.W.I. C/B was:

John D. Contreras Age 29

The male subject was then booked and charged. He was then transported to the Webb County Jail where a no bond was set by J.P. Oscar Martinez.

Subject Contreras was additionally cited for Changing Lane When Unsafe, and Fail to Control Speed.
