Copper Crook Arrested

On August 26, 2008 The Laredo Police Department arrested Alfonso Segura for Theft State Jail Felony and Criminal Mischief. Segura was in the process of stealing a water pressure water valve (made of copper) from the back of the Star Bucks on the 2200 block of Chestnut. The business was recently closed down and was unoccupied at the time of the theft. Segura was also tampering with the city’s water meter. He was held with no bond.
