CALLING ON SANTA'S LITTLE HELPERS

      City of Laredo, Center for the Arts, La Posada Hotel, Main Streets Laredo and the Mexican Consulate’s Office Navidad Fest Parade Call for Entries. 

The City of Laredo, will be hosting its annual tree lighting ceremony, kicking off the Christmas season in our community.  This year, thanks to partners Center for the Arts, La Posada Hotel, Main Streets Laredo and the Mexican Consulate’s Office, the festivities will include a bevy of Christmas performances, traditional Mexican holiday foods and arts and crafts, all while awaiting the arrival of Santa to officially “flip the switch.”  

However, the fun will all begin with a Christmas parade with all of Santa’s Little Helpers, heralding in the holiday.  
    
Everyone is invited to enter a float in the parade.  Corporate businesses, non-profit organizations, student groups or individuals are all welcomed to show off their Christmas spirit and enter the parade as a float; cheer/dance/performing/military/performing walking group; vehicles, motorcycles, little cars; or equestrian entry.  Please fill out an official registration form (attached) and return to Anita Stanley, with the City of Laredo Parks & Leisure Services Department.  Please contact Stanley for any questions or clarifications for parade entries.  There is no entry fee, but floats and entries must comply with all theme guidelines and parade rules.
