Fast Food Employee keeps Customer’s

Debit Card And goes on a Spending Spree

Linda Gomez, 03-10-84, was arrested for Credit Card Abuse State Jail Felony on 09-18-08. While working at a fast food drive thru window Gomez allegedly keeps a customer’s debit card and after she gets out of work she goes to several businesses and racks up chares on the debit card. Surveillance footage gave investigators the proof they needed to make the arrest. Gomez was still in her restaurant uniform when she was seen making the charges on the surveillance footage. Gomez turned herself in after investigators confronted her with the proof. The Laredo Police Department reminds everyone using their credit or debit cards to use extreme caution and remember to get their card back from an employee after paying.
