City of Laredo contractor, Dynser, Inc. will be closing West San Francisco Avenue between Ortiz Street and Tacuba Street, starting on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 8:00 a.m. This work is expected to last approximately three days. Additional street closures will be announced at a later time.

On February 10, 2010 a person filed a police report in relation to some fraud occurring on his DirecTV satellite account. According to the complaint he explains that while trying to upgrade his DirecTV services, he discovered that an unknown person had called in and pretended to be him (the actual client).
