Mr. Bad Wrench

On Monday, March 16, 2009, at about 12: 41 am, LPD received a call on a theft of motor vehicle by 2800 Okane Street. Upon arrival officers met with the victim who stated someone had just stolen their 1996 Maroon Chevy truck from their residence. Officers located the truck as it was attempting to go into Mexico from Bridge #2. The suspect was identified as one Jesus Noel Dimas, 12-15-81. During the investigation, officers learned that the suspect, a mechanic, had done some mechanical work on the victim’s truck. The suspect made a copy of the car’s keys, then later went back and stole the truck from his customer’s home. Dimas was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle Felony/State Jail.
