Webb County Judge Candidate Andres “Andy” Reyes visited the children of Santa Monica Catholic Mission in El Cenizo this past Saturday in celebration of Dia de Los Reyes presenting toys to the children. Reyes spoke with the kids about the importance of school and staying away of drugs. Reyes was accompanied by his brother and was greeted by Bishop James Tamayo. Webb County Judge Candidate Tano Tijerina hosted a Mega Tejano Dance this past Friday January 8th at the Casablanca Ballroom the event was standing room only as it was packed to capacity. The dance featured tejano legends David Mares, David Lee Garza, and Gary Hobbs. The dance turned into a celebration as Mrs. Tijerina had drawn the number one spot on the County Judge ballot for her husband Tano earlier at the Ambassador Reception Hall.
