(Laredo, Tx)-The Laredo Wolves Girls Basketball Team made their debut this past Saturday at the Lady Longhorns Invitational. The newly formed team consists of 4th grade elementary students from Alicia Ruiz Elementary, J.C. Martin Elementary and Kawas Elementary. The team includes 17 girls in total. The fourth grade bracket in the tournament included four teams The Lady Texans who won first place, the Clark Bulldogs who placed second, The Laredo Wolves who placed third, and the Lady Longhorns who placed fourth.

LAREDO, TX – The Laredo Lemurs professional baseball team will hold National Anthem Auditions on Thursday, April 19th 5pm-6pm.
This is an open tryout and an opportunity for fans to perform the National Anthem and earn a spot in the pre-game ceremonies for games at Uni-Trade Stadium this season. Those who pass the “judge’s test” will be scheduled to sing prior to a Lemurs 2012 home game.

(Laredo, Tx)-The Lady Horns invite you to their First Annual Basketball Tournament that will be held April 28th at the United High School Gym. The tournament is open to all grade levels and every team is guaranteed at least three games. Entry fee is only $150 per team. LAREDO, TX – The Laredo Lemurs professional baseball team will be hosting their second tryouts at TAMIU – Jorge Haynes Field on Saturday, April 14th.
Players interested in participating must arrive no later than 9:00am to register for the tryouts. On-site registration will take place from 8:30 – 9:30 am with a one-time $50.00 per player fee (cash or check). Official tryouts to follow immediately at 10:00 am

The Lemurs are looking for friendly, professional, and highly dedicated staff to help ensure every event at Uni-Trade Stadium is an exciting and memorable one.
