We are having a Steak Plate Sale Saturday April 10th 2010 at O’reillys Auto Parts corner of Guadalupe and Tilden for Little Ruth Dalila Martinez 10 years of age whom has been stricken with Leukemia. The Plate Sale will run from 11:00 a.m. thru 3:00 p.m. The Plates are going for $5. All monies will go towards medical assistance for the little lady. Thanks for your participation.

Donate blood and help save lives. You can make the difference. Dr. Dennis D. Cantu Health Science Magnet School at Martin High School campus will be hosting a blood drive Friday December 4. Come and join us from 9am to 4pm in classroom H101 to make a difference in someones life. Anyone who is at least 17 years old and weighing 110 pounds, and in good general health can donate blood. (Laredo) Nov.30 – Angela Martinez President of LaredoBuzz.Com received a certificate today as Student of the Week representing her classroom at school. Angela was one of many students who receieved an award one student representing their classrooms in the elentary school level. Angela is pictured to the left.

(Laredo, Tx) Jackie L. Ramos candidate for Webb County District Clerk held a bowling tournament on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Many participants played their best and had a good time. Several businesses contributed to this successful event; among them they include Ed’s Trophies on Sanchez Street which donated the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies. In addition, 1st and 2nd place winners received individual trophies. Jacob Nathaniel Contreras was born this weekend to Marc and Ruth Contreras. Jacob weighed in at 7 lbs. 2 ounces and is in excellent health. Jacob was born at 7 :03 p.m. Saturday evening. Nate was welcomed by friends and family and is scheduled to make the rounds this coming weekend (visiting family members).
