Justice of the Peace Ricardo Rangel is asking for your help for the people of Anahuac that were recently devasted by flooding.  The drive will be held this Saturday July 17 at the Jesus “Chuy” Salazar Justice Center located at 901 S. Transportation Services for Affected Areas
(Laredo, TX  9:50 a.m.)  Mandatory evacuation has been ordered for people who live in the affected flooded areas of Allen Street, Chacon Creek, Los Martinez and Quail Creek.  These areas are seeing flood waters rising and must leave the area immediately to higher ground or to the Laredo Civic Center shelter.  Reverse 9-1-1 calls are being made to residents in the affected area, informing them of this information.

The City of Laredo Health Department is urging the public not to consume the following products from Campbell Soup Supply Co. and Marie Callendar’s.
Campbell “SpaghettiO’s”: The City of Laredo Health Department (CLHD) has received notification from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of a recall of approximately 15,000,000 pounds of “Spaghetti Os” with Meatballs processed and canned by the Campbell Soup Supply Co. due to possible under-processing.  These products were manufactured between December 2008 and June 2010 and distributed …
