 In an effort to help protect residents from the hard freeze expected tonight, Webb County will be opening several community centers where residents can take shelter overnight as temperatures  are expected to drop to the mid twenties.

Laredo, TX – The City of Laredo Health Department (CLHD) in conjunction with Laredo Medical Center will be hosting an H1N1 Vaccine Clinic on Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Laredo Medical Center, Community Center, Tower B, 1st Floor.  2000 vaccines are available and will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis.  There is no cost for the vaccine.

Laredo, TX – The City of Laredo Health Department (CLHD) is offering limited amounts of seasonal flu vaccine for children between 6 and 35 months.  The cost for the seasonal flu vaccine is $4.00.  H1N1 vaccine continues to be offered to the general public especially those considered at risk (pregnant women, children under 5, students and those with underlying health conditions) as long as supplies are available. LISD: Heights Elementary (1208 Market St.) 8:00am – 12:00 pm.  This clinic is exclusive for students enrolled at this school
UISD: Washington Middle School (10306 Riverbank Dr.) 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm.  This clinic is for those students enrolled in Muller Elementary, Fasken Elementary, Kazen Elementary and Finley Elementary.
