(Laredo, Tx)-The Lady Horns invite you to their First Annual Basketball Tournament that will be held April 28th at the United High School Gym. The tournament is open to all grade levels and every team is guaranteed at least three games. Entry fee is only $150 per team. Trophies will be given out to the top teams in their respective divisions. Food will be provided for those competing and a sound system will provide music and entertainment.

LAREDO, TX – The Laredo Lemurs professional baseball team will be hosting their second tryouts at TAMIU – Jorge Haynes Field on Saturday, April 14th.
Players interested in participating must arrive no later than 9:00am to register for the tryouts. On-site registration will take place from 8:30 – 9:30 am with a one-time $50.00 per player fee (cash or check). Official tryouts to follow immediately at 10:00 am

This week, City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas has made several important proclamations this week, highlighting the important work of some local organizations.
Salinas, along with Webb County Judge Danny Valdez, welcomed the Children’s Advocacy Center and SCAN to City Hall, to make two important proclamations: Sexual Abuse Awareness and Prevention and Child Abuse Awareness Month.
