Rabies “Vacuna” Clinic for May 16, 2012

Laredo, TX – The City of Laredo Health Department wants to remind the public that rabies continues to be a local threat and that everyone needs to vaccinate their pets as soon as possible, either at their veterinarian’s office or at the Health Department.
 The next  Rabies “Vacuna” Clinic is on  May 16, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 2600 Cedar .   The cost for pet rabies vaccination is $12.00.   Distemper/Parvo shots available upon request.

Texting for Your Babies Health

National Hospital Week Proclamation

Mayor Pro Tempore welcomed representatives from Doctors Hospital, Laredo Medical Center and Laredo Specialty Hospital to kick off National Hospital Week with a proclamation, highlighting the great work that all three do, taking care of the Laredo community to nurse them back to health.

National Day of Prayer

 DEH Construction, a City of Laredo contractor, will be closing Madison Street between Anna Avenue and Lee Avenue for two days, for  the installation of light poles at Anna Park.
The street will be closed starting on Monday, May 7,2012, and will be reopen on Tuesday May 8, 2012.

Laredo Public Library Book Clubs May Books
