(Laredo, Tx)-Tickets for the Martin High School vs. Alexander High School Boys Basketball playoff game will be sold to the general public on Tuesday, February 28  from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Martin High School cafeteria. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students. A limit of 4 tickets per person will be sold. Due to the high demand, a limited number of tickets will be sold. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

NEA’s Read Across America Day, which falls on Dr. Seuss’s birthday, expects more than 45 million readers, both young and old, to pick up a book and read.

The Communications staff’s community newsletter “Las Escuelas” was recognized as the best newsletter in the state of Texas. (Laredo, Tx)- Martin High School US Army JROTC cadets will host the Rio Grande Valley Association’s Drill Competition on Saturday, February 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Drill Competition will take place at the new Shirley Field Sports Complex parking lot as well as the track and field of the new stadium.
