Trautmann Middle School Student Reaches for the Final Round of State-Wide Video Contest

(Laredo, Texas)-Trautmann Middle School student Oziel Gonzalez has been announced as 1 of 6 middle school finalists in the second round of the Take Care of Texas Video Contest. The top three videos from the middle school category will proceed to the final round of the state-wide competition. Oziel hopes that his community will help him and his team get into the final round of the contest by viewing their video and casting the entry (which is under his name) at:

Voting will continue through Thursday, January 25, 2018 @ 4:00.p.m
The Take Care of Texas program is under the auspices of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Prizes for the last round of the contest will be provided by contest partner Waste Management of Texas, Inc., and will include GoPro camera packages for all winners in grades 6-8.
