Santa Cops 4 Kids makes Christmas Special for UISD Kids

(Laredo, Texas)-The UISD Police Department launched their 1st annual Santa Cops 4 Kids drive to ensure a very Merry Christmas for students. Officers received donations of toys from employees throughout the district and the community. This year, the toys were donated to special needs students attending UISD elementary schools
“Many of our officers have children of their own, so they understand what the holidays mean to youngsters”, said UISD Police Chief Ray Garner Garner. “All of us in the department are absolutely delighted that we can do something to make the holidays memorable for kids in our District, and we appreciate the generosity of our donors”, he concluded.
