Lady Longhorn Volleyball Player Signs Western Nebraska Community College Scholarship

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently,United High School senior Gabriela Canavati was joined by her family, teammates and coaches as she signed a volleyball scholarship to play at Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. While at United High School, Ms. Canavati has earned the title of District 29-6A Most Valuable Player. In addition, Ms. Canavati was named as part the Laredo Morning Times All-City First Team, and is wrapping up her athletic trajectory at United High School with 295 kills, 294 digs, 106 points, and 16 aces.
Ms. Canavati thanked her parents and family for their ongoing support, and extended her gratitude to her coach, Ms. Lety Longoria. “Training under coach Longoria has helped me develop the skills I need for the next level of play at Western Nebraska Community College. Her belief in my abilities has made me a stronger and better player”, said Canavati.
