McAllen Recycling Center will turn trees into mulch
McAllen, TX– Out with the old and in with the new. The McAllen Recycling Center is assisting residents with their after holiday cleanup by providing Christmas tree drop-off locations. All natural Christmas trees free of décor and tinsel will be accepted at the following locations:
-Recycling Center located at 4101 N. Bentsen Road, Mon.-Fri. from 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
-Composting Facility located at 15201 N. 29th Street, Mon.- Fri. from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Christmas Tree drop-off deadline is February 3, 2018. Trees will then be grinded into mulch and available for customers to purchase in March at $2.15 per 2 cubic feet bag.
