United ISD Hosts Dedication Ceremony For United South 9th Grade Campus

(Laredo, Texas)-Campus, District, and Community members united this morning to honor United ISD’s most recent addition. United South 9th Grade Campus, Home of United High School’s Class of 2021, is the district’s most recent addition to United South High School. The 9th Grade Campus is a stand alone, two-story structure adjacent to United South High School.
The campus features a state of the art Computer Lab, Science Lecture Labs equipped with shared Prep Rooms, Business Information Magnet Labs, a Career Technical Education Magnet Lab, as well as a spacious Cafeteria, an outdoor Amphitheater and Courtyard that will perfectly support instruction. Also on the campus are: a detached Future Farmers of America (FFA) building, Fine Arts Building equipped with Art Labs and Dance Studio, and Athletic Complex with a Gymnasium and outdoor practice fields. This addition was funded with funds approved by voters in 2013 Bond Program.
Olga Cantu, Associate Principal for the campus, works alongside Mrs. Adriana Ramirez, Principal at United South High School to continue United South High’s long-standing tradition of excellence in education for about 900 students.
