TAMIU Students’ Progress, Commitment Recognized Monday

Courtesy Mika S. Akikuni,

(Laredo, Texas)-More than 1,100 students will see their names unveiled on the Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Student Success Wall Monday, Nov. 20 at noon on the second floor of the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center.

The unveiling enters 1,160 TAMIU students’ names on the 18-foot special permanent display, “Four Years, Many Futures.”

The display recognizes students’ accomplishments and commitment in maintaining a four-year track as a sophomore, junior or senior at TAMIU.

It bears the names of on-time students who started with TAMIU as freshmen and are making timely progress to graduate in four years and is an inspiring, visual endorsement of the students’ progress.

For more information, contact Veronica Juarez, University College Executive Assistant, at 956.326.2134, emailveronica.juarez@tamiu.edu or visit office in the Zaffirini Student Success Center, room 223.
