Students at Bonnie Garcia Give Back

(Laredo, Texas)- Students from Bonnie Garcia’s National Elementary Honor Society held a food drive at their campus to benefit members of the community who may struggle with putting food on the table during the holidays. The students reached out to their fellow classmates and were able to collect over 1,000 cans of food that they were able to donate to not only families within their own school who have expressed a need for assistance, but to the Bethany House as well. The drive was coordinated by campus Counselor Nelda Ceballos.
