Freedom Elementary Celebrates First A.R. Program and New Library

(Laredo, Texas)-The new Freedom Elementary School kicked off their first Accelerated Reader (A.R.), program with a visit from Clown Bolitas. The beloved entertainer energized students with interactive games that included the participation of teachers and faculty members. Bolitas intertwined the fun and frolic with the message that reading everyday means fun everyday. Principal Laura P. De Los Santos said that this year’s theme for her campus’ A.R. program is Readers are Leaders.
“In addition to the challenges set up by our A.R. program, we also encourage our students to read when they have extra time to do so. We have a beautiful new library which we also urge them to explore”, said De Los Santos. The librarian at Freedom Elementary School is Ms. Analine Johnson.
