(Laredo, Tx)-TxDOT Laredo District staff and honored guests pose for a photo after the Centennial Celebration Liberty Truck Tour event in Laredo. Among those shown in the photo (center) are Laredo Mayor Pete Saenz, TxDOT Laredo District Administrator Melisa Montemayor and Roger Allen Polson, former TxDOT employee (retired) who engineered a book about TxDOT’s 100 year history titled Miles and Miles of Texas: 100 Years of the Texas Highway Department which also was researched and written by renowned author Carol Dawson.
