Danny Green Basketball Clinic Inspires Boys and Girls of All Ages

(Laredo, Texas)-Many Laredo youths attended the Danny Green Basketball Skills Clinic held at the United high school gymnasium. The San Antonio Spurs legend and his coaching staff challenged participants with an array of training drills designed to help them improve their basketball skills.
The comprehensive clinic focused on the fundamentals of ball handling, defense, shooting and good sportsmanship. Green explained that being involved in sports is an ideal way for young people to develop good habits. “To be successful at anything, one must be consistent and work hard over an extended period of time. The clinic not only teaches the fundamentals of basketball, but also emphasizes the importance of self – discipline, and how that helps develop life and leadership skills,” said Green.
