United ISD Announces Summer Break and Hours for Tax Office and Shipping and Receiving Department

(Laredo, Texas)-The following departments of the United Independent School District will observe a special work schedule for the week of July 4, 2016.
The schedule will be as follows:
UISD Central Office (located at 201 Lindenwood Dr.)-Only a receptionist will be available to the public from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm from July 5 through July 7, 2016. Central Office will be closed on July 4 and 8, 2016.
UISD Shipping and Receiving Department (located at 3501 East Saunders)-This Department will be open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, July 4 through July 7, 2016. The Shipping and Receiving Department will be closed on July 8, 2016.
UISD Tax Office (located at 3501 East Saunders)-Any UISD taxpayer who would like to pay their District taxes in person can do so between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from July 4 through July 7, 2016. The Office will be closed on July 8, 2016. Taxpayers may also pay their taxes anytime online at the United ISD website located at www.uisd.net and click on the “Pay Taxes Online” icon. Individuals may also contact the District’s delinquent tax attorneys, the Law Offices of Alarcon and Saenz, at (956) 727-8585.
All UISD Administrative Offices will resume business on July 11, 2016 and will continue to follow the abbreviated summer schedule.
