United ISD Students Stand Proud as 8th Graders of The Year

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, nine United ISD middle school students were named Outstanding 8th Graders of the Year. All of the honorees had been previously recognized as Outstanding 8th Graders of the Month during the 2016-2016 school year. In addition,Trautmann Middle School student Carlos Rene Ramirez emerged as one of the Top 3 Overall 8th Graders of the Year. Outstanding 8th graders are excellent students and ideal role models who also participate in projects that benefit our local community. The Outstanding 8th Graders of the Year ceremony was co-sponsored by the Laredo Police Department, Friends of the Family, KGNS-TV, Laredo Medical Center and Family Nissan/Chevrolet.
