Starting a new era for the morning shows on “iLike 107.3”
Laredo, Texas — May 2016 — Always improving and keeping his listener on top of the best music and trending topics, Sammy “The House” Ramirez launches his new show “Coffee & Magic” with the local radio station iLike 107.3.
The radio show launched on Monday May 9, 2016. It can be heard from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., Monday through Friday.
“We wanted to give our listeners something fresh, innovative and enticing,” said Ruth Rodriguez-Cuellar, General Manager for XHGTS iLike 107.3. “We believe Sammy ‘The House’ is bringing all that and more.”
During the daily show there will be different sections like “Carmen”, “Sammy gets Serious”, “The 90s at 9”, and birthday shout outs.
“I can guarantee good music for the ears, fun topics and exciting different daily morning routine,” said Ramirez. “I am thrilled to be back on the air, and I’m grateful to do it in a company always looking for improvement and that puts listeners on top of their list.”
When asked, Why Coffee and Magic?, Ramirez said “When I wasn’t working I would spend my mornings outside drinking coffee and listening to music. Sometimes I would do other things but coffee was always involved.
“When I was there in the most enjoyable peace I would bring out my phone and get on my social media and simply post Coffee and Magic…”
Ramirez is a true believer that a person can’t wake up and have a good morning without Coffee and Magic.
“Magic could be anything. A smoke, a kiss from your wife, an innocent unjaded smile as you drop your kids at school, or just the perfect song,” Ramirez added. “For my new venture the magic is my listeners. I can’t succeed without them.”
