McDonald’s Presents McTeacher’s Night Checks

(Laredo, Texas)-McDonald’s recently presented six United ISD elementary schools with monetary donations for participating in the 5th annual Mc Teacher’s Night, which was held on Tuesday, April 5 at McDonald’s restaurant locations throughout the city. The popular fundraising program gives educators, students, parents, and friends an opportunity to earn money for their campuses by working 3 hour shifts at specified McDonald’s restaurant locations. McDonald’s then donates 20% off the top of all sales generated during the event.
This year, Veteran’s Memorial, Killam, Nye, Muller, Newman and Centeno Elementary received a combined total of $4290.00 from their participation in McTeacher’s Night. “It’s always great to see students, families, and educators come together for an evening fun while helping to raise funds for their school.” said McDonald’s owner Mike Marasco, who was accompanied for the presentation of checks by McDonald’s owner Rocio De Leon, Store Manager Ms. Cri Santa Macias and Marketing Manager Sabrina Teeters.
United ISD Trustee Javier Montemayor Jr. and Superintendent Roberto J. Santos thanked McDonald’s of Laredo for their generosity and investment in the education of our youth.
