Maymester Starts, Summer Sessions Registering at TAMIU

(Laredo, Texas)-While the Spring semester is over, new opportunities to advance or secure degree progress or study abroad are coming with expanded Maymester and Summer Sessions at Texas A&M International University.
Traditionally, enrollment in these semesters is popular among both current and future TAMIU students. In addition, students home for the summer from other universities often take advantage of their at-home time to enroll for a course or two.
Both Maymester and Summer Sessions this year at TAMIU are featuring expanded course inventories, an additional incentive.
Maymester begins today, May 23, and continues through June 5. Course inventory has grown from 17 classes to 26 classes.
Summer Session I, (June 6 – July 7) offers 188 classes this year, up from 162 last year and featuring some 27 Study Abroad options.
Summer Session II, (July 11 – Aug. 11) offers 134 classes, an increase from 112 last year. Seven Study Abroad options are also available. Summer Session III is June 6 – Aug. 10.
The first day of classes for the Fall Semester 2016 is Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016.
