January Youth of the Month

(Laredo, Texas)-The United States Border Patrol announced the Youth of the Months for January 2016 during a ceremony hosted by J.B. Alexander High School. The ceremony honored students from Laredo’s public and private high schools.
Four UISD students were among the honorees to receive the recognition, which is based on extra-curricular activities, volunteer work, and of course being exceptional students at their campuses. Among the recipients were Carolina Martinez from J.B. Alexander High School, Luis F. Mota Jr. from L.B. Johnson High School, Yolanda Contreras from United High School, and Ana Paola Garza from United South High School.
