LAREDO, TX – Laredo prepares to welcome Latin sensation Ana Gabriel’s Por ti Para Siempre tour to the LEA on Thursday, March 3, 2016. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m.

“We are delighted that this accomplished Mexican artist will be performing at the LEA for the first time,” said Xavier Villalon, General Manager of the SMG – Managed Laredo Energy Arena. “Her work speaks for itself, and we know she will put on a memorable performance.”
Mexican singer and songwriter from Mexico, Gabriel first sang on stage at age six, singing “Regalo A Dios” by José Alfredo Jiménez. She moved to Baja California and studied accounting. By the age of 21, Gabriel recorded her first song, titled “Compréndeme”.
During her long career, she has hits in three different genres of music: rock en español, Latin pop, and rancheras. As of 2013, Gabriel had released twenty studio albums, three live albums, and fifteen compilation albums. Three of her albums reached number one on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums, and seven singles reached number one on the Billboard Latin Songs chart, including “Ay Amor”, “Es Demasiado Tarde”, and “Quién Como Tú”.
She’s earned numerous awards and honors for her work, including a Grammy Award nomination, four Latin Grammy Award nominations, thirteen Lo Nuestro Awards, as well as awards from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. In 2006, she received the Excellence Award at the Lo Nuestro Awards.
