Wine Tasting Fundraiser to Support SOTX Athletes

SOTX fundraiser will be at Laredo Salsa’s Restaurant and Sushi Grill on Sept. 21 from 7:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
LAREDO – Enjoy an evening of socializing and sampling elegant wines and rich foods, all to benefit athletes with intellectual disabilities in the Laredo area on Monday, Sept. 21 from 7:30 p.m. -10:00 p.m. The second annual Laredo Wine Tasting will be hosted at Laredo Salsa’s Restaurant and Sushi Grill, 9902 McPherson Road.
Guests will enjoy a four-course meal accompanied by a tasting of five different wines. Wine expert Richard Chamberlain of the Republic National Distributing Company will emcee the event and introduce the wines for the evening. In addition to the dinner, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction.
The fundraiser will help support more than 1,800 Special Olympics Texas athletes in the Laredo area.

Tickets may also be purchased at Salsa’s Restaurant or at the Special Olympics Texas office at 102 E. Calton Road, Suite 7, in Laredo. Please note: tickets will not be available at the door during the event.
