Killam Elementary School Exceeds MDA Fundraiser Goals

(Laredo, Texas)-Congratulations to the Killam Elementary School second grade students for raising a total of $962.22 during this years’ M.D.A. fundraising effort. The money was raised by way of various Hop-A Thon activities which were held at the Killam elementary campus between
May 11 and May 15. This years’ sum represents the most money raised by any elementary campus in UISD. Ms. Maria Dominguez was also cited as this years’ top MDA fundraising teacher in the District.”The students enjoy knowing that they are helping others, and they have fun in the process. I’m very proud of what we have accomplished and hope that our efforts will help many who are afflicted with neuromuscular disorders”, said Dominguez.
