UISD welcomes in New Police Captain

(Laredo, Tx)-United ISD Chief of Police Clemente Camarillo swore in Aaron Salazar as Police Captain at a special ceremony held at UISD Police Department.
The former lieutenant of the police force is now the second-ranking official in the department’s chain-of-command after the chief.“Aaron Salazar is an excellent officer who’s done much to improve the workings of the UISD Police Department and with his leadership and vision he will be a great asset to the department,” said Chief Clemente Camarillo.Salazar, started police work in UISD 22 years ago, 18 serving as a Police Officer and the last 6 years in the capacity as Lieutenant.
“I am very honored to be chosen for the position, Salazar said. He added, “It’s a new chapter in my career that I am ready to begin and continue to provide the highest quality of police service to the citizens and visitors of our district.”
