United ISD Announces 4th Annual “Run Wild” 5K Run, Walk, Zumba Master Class, and Health Fair

(Laredo, Tx)-It’s that time of year again, time to register for United ISD’s Run, Walk, Zumba Master Class and Health Fair. The 5k Run, Walk and Health Fair will take place on January 10, 2015 at the Student Activity Complex located at 5208 Santa Claudia Lane. The Zumba Master Class will take place on January 17, 2015 at the United Middle School gym located at 700 E. Del Mar Blvd. Proceeds from both events will benefit United ISD students with scholarships to college.
“This event helps us raise funds for our students while highlighting the importance of a healthy lifestyle,” said United ISD Superintendent Roberto J. Santos. “We hope to see everyone at these two events.”
The early registration deadline for the Run, Walk and Health Fair is $20, if paid by December 17 at the United ISD Central Office located at 201 Lindenwood Drive. Otherwise, on-site registration will be $25 on the day of the event. The health fair will include various community and non-profit organizations who will give out items and offer health screenings to participants.
The Zumba Master Class will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon on January 17 at the United Middle School gym. Registration for the Zumba Master Class is $15 and can also be paid at the United ISD Central Office. The Zumba Master class will be conducted by elite instructors of the City.
Paid registration for each of these events includes a t-shirt and goody bag.
