United ISD Marching Band Festival To Take Place

The United ISD Fine Arts Department will be hosting a high school band Marching Band Festival on Saturday, October 4th at the Bill Johnson Student Activity Complex-Stadium located at 5208 Santa Claudia Lane.
This festival is open to the public, admission is $7.00 per person, all tickets general admission. Tickets may be purchased on Saturday October 4th, starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Stadium ticket window.
This event will feature all four UISD high school marching bands, United, United South, Alexander and LBJ, plus LISD bands, including Freer and Zapata HS Bands. All bands will be performing their UIL Marching Contest shows for a panel of 5 judges. Announcement of awards will be at 8:00 p.m.
This event, is an excellent opportunity for family entertainment as the bands have a wide variety of exciting musical selections performed to fast paced marching drills and formations.
