Share-A-Bear Movie Night Featuring Frozen at Uni-Trade Stadium

Laredo, TX (Webb County) – The Webb County Sheriff’s Office invites the community to join in the fun this coming Saturday, September 27, at 7 p.m. and enjoy a family movie night at Uni-Trade Stadium, featuring the popular Disney movie Frozen.
The event, held by the Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit, is part of Share-A-Bear, a project benefitting children who have been victims of crime and/or natural disasters. Families are asked to donate one new stuffed animal for this great cause. The goal is to collect hundreds, if not thousands of new stuffed animals, which will then be distributed to the children who have experienced a traumatic event in the Laredo and Webb County areas.
With the stuffed animals, we hope to bring a smile to the little ones during their time of crisis. The stuffed animals will not only be given to law enforcement agencies to disburse, but all first responders and hospitals in our community. Students who donate for this special project will be eligible to receive one community service hour for each teddy bear donated, with a maximum of 10 hours.
