PRADA ELEMENTARY LAUNCHES ACCERLATED READER PROGRAM!

(Laredo, Tx)-Gooooo Jaguars! Prada Elementary School kicked-off their Accelerated Reader Program today with a Reading Jamaica in the school’s gym. The Accerlated Reader, or AR program, promotes the importance and love for reading.
Each day students read a book where they are then assessed, through the assistance of an online program, and receive immediate results. Principal Gilbert Castro says students get excited and motivated when they see their progress.
At the Jamaica, the students visited a variety of booths targeting different reading activities and skills.
