2014 South Texas Amateur Boxing Championships to be held in Laredo this weekend

Laredo, TX – Sheriff Martin Cuellar and the Webb County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting the 2014 South Texas Amateur Boxing Championships this weekend at the Laredo International Fair and Exposition (LIFE Downs Pavilion). This event is a qualifying round for the USA Boxing Junior Olympics Tournament. More than 80 bouts will be held during the three day event. The more than 160 boxers are from South Texas.
Boxing matches will be held on:
Friday from 6 p.m. to approximately 11 p.m.
Saturday from 1:30 p.m.to approximately 11 p.m.
Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to approximately 11 p.m.
