USHS Powerlifting State Qualifiers

(Laredo, Tx)-At a recent regional meet, the United South High School Powerlifting Team qualified three boys to advance to State competition which will be held this Saturday in Abilene , Texas . Pictured from left to right, with their various awards, are: Sophomore Rudy Flores-Region V champion in the Super Heavyweight Division, Senior David Lopez-Region V Champion in the 148 lb weight class, and Senior Cesar Alfaro 2nd place in region V in the 148 lb. weight class. Their proud coach is Jerry Ramirez, Head Powerlifting Coach at USHS.
