Father and Son Arrested for Robbery

(Laredo, Tx)-On Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at approximately 4:00pm, Laredo Police responded to a robbery call by the Wal-Mart located at 2320 Bob Bullock. Preliminary information from the patrol supervisor was that the Wal-Mart loss prevention security guards were attempting to detain a male suspect who allegedly committed a theft of several plants which were located by the outdoor area of the business while a second suspect was inside a pickup truck standing by in the parking lot.
While trying to detain the suspect stealing the plants, the loss prevention personnel became involved in a physical struggle with the male suspect. The suspect who was waiting inside the pickup went to intervene the suspect’s detention by assaulting the loss prevention personnel. They were able to break free and evaded the detention of the security personnel and the left the location in a black in color Ford pick-up truck travelling south bound on Bob Bullock Loop.
The loss prevention personnel provided the license plates on the suspect’s vehicle. Patrol placed a lookout on the vehicle’s registered plates. Officers went at the suspect’s residence, and located the two suspects identified as Felix Salinas, Jr. age 34, and Felix Salinas, Sr. age 55, by 3003 Clark Boulevard. Both suspects were arrested & charged with Robbery.
