Daily Service from Monterrey, MX to Laredo, Texas on Aeromexico

(Laredo, Tx)-The City of Laredo and the Laredo International Airport are proud to announce that Aeromexico Airlines will begin daily service from Laredo, Texas to Monterrey, Mexico beginning December 14, 2012. The aircraft used for this daily service will be the Embraer 145, Regional Jet with a capacity of 50 passengers. This is the same aircraft used by United and American Airlines to service Laredo, TX. Flight time is expected to be less than 30 minutes.
Mayor Raul G. Salinas and the Laredo City Council made a commitment to work tirelessly to bring air service to Mexico for the citizens of Laredo and the business community. “I am pleased to announce daily service from Laredo, Texas USA to Monterrey, Mexico. The community has wanted this service for both business and pleasure and we are proud to announce that beginning on December 14, 2012, we will have a direct flight with our friends in Monterrey, Mexico via Aeromexico Airlines”
The City of Laredo and Aeromexico have been in negotiations for more than a year. An incentive package was recently approved by the City Council which closed the deal for this direct service.
These daily flights will allow for excellent connectivity to numerous destinations throughout Mexico including Guadalajara, Mexico City, Queretaro and Puebla.
