UISD to Host Second Annual “Let’s Move for Scholars 5K Run/Walk

(Laredo, Tx)-The United Independent School District is preparing for its Second Annual “Let’s Move for Scholars 5K Run/Walk”. The event will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Johnson Student Activity Complex. Last years event was a huge success which raised over $24,000 for scholarhips with over 900 participants. UISD invites the public to participate and is actively seeking sponsors for the event. Sponsorhip package includes your business logo on the back of t-shirts that will be given out to the participating runners which should increase to 1,200 participants for next year’s event.
