The Webb County Sheriff’s Seeks Community Involvement In Solving Murder Case

The Webb County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the community of Webb County for assistance regarding a murder case. On January 8, 2012 the Webb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division responded to a call of a deceased person on a ranch approximately 2 miles east of Laredo. Upon arrival at the scene, investigators identified that a male subject had been shot multiple times and through investigations and DNA analysis the remains were found to be those of Jose Partida de Anda who was 33 years of age at the time of his death. Partida de Anda’s last known contact with his family was reported to be in late July of 2011.
